Casa Lana is one of the very few properties in the entire region with a dedicated children's pool alongside the main pool. The shallow circular pool is perfect for little ones to splash and play safely — while adults relax undisturbed on the sun deck.

The Ponta da Atalaia viewpoint is within walking distance of the house — a stunning spot above the Atlantic. From there you can walk down to Monte Clérigo or continue to Arrifana. Experienced walkers can do the full loop (best in the cooler months). Afterwards: jump into the warm saltwater pool, or cool off in the small unheated plunge pool for the brave.
Der Aussichtspunkt Ponta da Atalaia ist vom Haus aus zu Fuß erreichbar — ein atemberaubender Ort hoch über dem Atlantik. Von dort kann man nach Monte Clérigo hinunterwandern oder weiter nach Arrifana. Geübte Wanderer können die große Runde drehen (am besten in den kühleren Monaten). Danach: ins warme Salzwasserbecken springen oder für Mutige ins kleine, ungeheizte Tauchbecken.
Het uitkijkpunt Ponta da Atalaia ligt op loopafstand van het huis — een prachtige plek hoog boven de Atlantische Oceaan. Vandaar kun je afdalen naar Monte Clérigo of doorlopen naar Arrifana. Geoefende wandelaars kunnen de grote lus lopen (bij voorkeur in de koelere maanden). Daarna: springen in het warme zoutwaterbad, of voor de stoerste in het kleine onverwarmde bad om af te koelen.
O miradouro da Ponta da Atalaia fica a pé de casa — um ponto deslumbrante sobre o Atlântico. A partir daí pode descer a Monte Clérigo ou continuar até Arrifana. Os mais experientes podem fazer o percurso completo (melhor nos meses mais frescos). Depois: um mergulho na piscina de água salgada aquecida, ou para os corajosos, o pequeno tanque não aquecido para refrescar.

The pool is heated exclusively by a heat pump running on our 18 solar panels, so your holiday doesn't cost the earth. We avoid pesticides in the garden, choose local suppliers where possible, and keep it simple: less waste, more nature.
